Residential development will be brought forward across the site in different distinct phases, each of which will be the subject of its own reserved matters application and consultation process.
Dwellings will be provided in a mix of styles for both affordable housing an open market housing. There will be a selection of one to five bedroomed homes to include detached, semi-detached, terraced and apartments.
As part of the proposals to develop a new sustainable community at Wellington Gate, three new schools will be provided.
Two will be primary schools, one will be delivered early in the development programme at the completion of 500 dwellings, and one at the completion of 1000 dwellings. The third will be a new secondary school, to be provided upon the completion of the 1000th dwelling.
The general location of all three schools are shown on the Illustrative Masterplan here, whilst further details including reserved matters applications will be provided, as they become available, on our planning pages.
The development will link into a range of existing amenities across Grove and the wider area and provide the opportunity for a new local centre, community hub and sports facilities.
