The nearest station to Wellington Gate is Didcot Parkway, around 10 miles from the site by car. Didcot Parkway is a busy station, sitting on the junction of the Great Western Mainline and Cherwell Valley Line. Whilst providing access to a number of local stations (including Swindon and Oxford), the station can also be used to access key destinations throughout the UK, including London and Birmingham New Street. To accommodate commuter demand the station is having a new 1,800 space multi-storey car park built.
Trains to London Paddington station take just 42 minutes, making it popular amongst those travelling into the capital.
